it is therapy on the horses that is done at Tarleton State University - treat is what they call it - All of the horses were donated to the program & the are like 18 years old

Is this EAP therapy? Or just physical therapy? Therapy horses in general are some of the gentlest and mellowest horses you'll ever find.

Treat is Tarleton State Unvi.(part of Texas A&M) training students on horse thepary. It is for Special needs people(brother & sisters can ride too if they have openings)

My boys have Autism. There is one guy with ADD, their is a group from a group home that rides where they have at least Mental Retardation (usually alot more wrong with them)

I know several have muscle problems - several in wheelchairs.

It really is a great program - all of the horses where given to the program. They are over 15 years old & the kids throw balls into a basket ball hoop (sometimes hitting the horse instead) & they stand there - that amazes me.
